Ingredients 42 teaspoons ground nutmeg 42 teaspoons ground cinnamon 41 teaspoon ground cloves 41 teaspoon ground mace 41 teaspoon ground cardamom 41 teaspoon ground ginger 41 teaspoon ground aniseed 43 sticks unsalted butter, softened 41 cup granulated sugar 41 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 41/2 teaspoon salt 412 large eggs, separated 41 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 42 tablespoons confectioner’s sugar Directions Preheat the broiler. Butter the bottom and sides of a 9-inch round cake pan or springform pan. Line with parchment paper and butter the paper. Set aside.
